Skate Boarders
OK, here in lies the rub. This street portriat of the skate boarder is a digital capture. The Asian Lady above is shot on film. Yeah the light is different but please.......

The results I got using new information regarding printing digital B&W has caused me to be very curious about what advantages I can get from shooting film. I think at this point the advantage may come completely from using my Leica which provides me with the very quiet shutter; a real advantage when shooting in the streets. But the resulting image while different in some ways from a digital capture may not be superior enough to make it worthwhile to shoot lots of film. The jury is still out but I'm starting to question shooting film because the workflow is elongated without great improvement in image.
